Lol.... I now want him to for some strange reason. Not so I can be mean to you, just because I'd find it funny if he did.

Please don't judge my spelling - worse speller on the planet here, I don't mean any disrespect to any person, name, or word I butcher here.

And that's fine, no one is asking you to be a good speller. But their names are plastered all over the site and the internet, and the player in question is often right there in the title of the thread being posted in - there is just no reason to get their names wrong.

I can’t help but notice that four Oilers defensemen fall into the “Open Door” section of the map, whereas our worst culprit just signed in Columbus for $16M.

Gudbranson out and Weegar is a nice move by those stats. Kind of surprising overall how mediocre Flames defenders were on this. Would be interested to see it split between round 1 and round 2.

I don’t know who Brick Wall is but we should sign him.

Having McDavid coming in on the entry probably doesn't help ones stats

That chart matches the eye test. Gudbranson struggled in the playoffs, as did Kylington. And overall, the Flames' D was pretty good defensively (very good against Dallas, but not so good against Edm), but generated very little offensively.

Adding Weegar is just what this team needs. And is why I think the loss of Gaudreau and Tkachuk, with the additions of Huberdeau and Weegar, does not leave this team that much worse offensively.

Not a chance? I'd say he's now going to be playing with the purest goal scorer he's ever played with in Laine, so there's an excellent chance that both players have very good seasons together.

The Blue Jackets have a very good top 6 with (Laine, Sillinger, Jenner, Voracek and Nyquist) and Guadreau is very good himself. I would be shocked if he isn't right back in the 100 point club.

A good way to start getting to know new players is with their name and learning how to spell it correctly.

Nice to see Darnell Nurse right in his underwhelming wheelhouse.

Gudbranson didn’t seem the same towards the end of the season and in the playoffs IMO. I’m surprised we didn’t hear about any injuries with him.
