NHL should open to 3-digit jersey number and Jonny Huby should be the first ever NHLer to don the ‘111’ jersey.
‘1’ should be good too (only NHL non-goalie/skater ever wore number 1 was Glen Smith in the 40s)

Growing up he said his favourite player was Vinny Lecavalier, but #4 is already taken here (Rasmus).
Vinny wore 40 in Philly and 44 in LA (I have no memory of him playing in LA).
40 has a good history in Calgary for LWers who get a lot of assists.

Give him number 3. He'll just be converting binary to decimal.

I vote for #22. His likely line mates are going to be #28 and #88. I like the symmetry.

Isn't 22 Lewis's number? If his line mates are likely to be 28 and 88, why not 18? The crazy 8 line.

I don’t mind #18 either. You’re right I forgot about Lewis. I still associate it with Langkow.

As a Jonathan I can tell you that the ‘H’ pissed me off instantly when I saw it in the thread title, let alone other grievances lol

Taking a while to get to 5000
Heard an interview with Huberdeau on the Fan this morning and he said he's picking between 91 & 10

Most are prob too young for this one… but JonoVision seems like a fit. Good ole Canadian talk show back in the day. Part of Street cents or something iirc. Vision seems to check out with JH passing.

Forgive me but I'm drawing a blank on the significance of #91...just cuz it's cool? Reverse Chucky?
Actually it would be really neat to have 91 Huberdeau hanging beside my 19 Tkachuk
