Had to go back and look, are you saying a comment about Rogan is political? There was no mention of left vs right, dems/repubs, trudeau, gun control, anything polticial, just Rogan.

It’s also not gamesmanship. Firebot is literally just putting words together because someone said “Rogan” and hoping for the best.

Fixed for context.
Rogan is slanted to a specific nutcase ideology without having to say such. You don't need to explicitly state "hey Rogan is a nutty conservative" to know he's a nutty conservative.
But to immediately insinuate that these killings is a result of some type of directive given by Rogan to 'purge the homeless' out of those comments he made is an extreme overreach.

What does a random guy named Rogan based in the US have to do with a multiple shooting incident in another country?
My first thought process when hearing this news was "what type of sick individual could do something like this to the vulnerable". Apparently to some, their thought process was "what did Joe Rogan say last week".
What was your first thought process?
Let's not play dumb here.

Joe Rogan is a popular opinionist with followers that under the right circumstance will follow what he says, even here in Canada

The most popular podcaster in the world talks about shooting homeless people a week before someone goes on a shooting spree targeting homeless people and you’re pretending he’s just a random guy in another country who might have said a thing and all mention of him must be political.
I agree, let’s not play dumb.

I dunno, same way that several of my friends went to an all red-meat diet shortly after Rogan started pushing it. Or maybe my other friend who started taking alpha brain, shroom tech and putting mct oil or butter in his coffee after Rogan started talking about it.
I don't blame Rogan at all for something like this, there are unstable people out there, but to suggest he has zero influence is silly. He does.
Him saying that a week ago, then it happening this week is an interesting thought. Maybe they are unrelated, but I find it odd to get so defensive about it.

Trump? The guy who dickrode Duterte a bunch of times during his term for his "tough on crime" policies?
You know, Duterte, the guy who literally had an open season murder-call on the homeless and drug addicted.
Rough.

It seems that gang shootings in Van and area are at a different level. Some of these are in broad daylight in crowded public areas. They even have bulletin posters of people warning the public should stay away from cause of the likelihood of them being targets.

There really is a gang problem crawling across the major cities in this country. We're seeing major gun and gang crime in Toronto, in Vancouver. Calgary isn't immune from it either.

George Carlin was right about that. He also suggested we build homes on golf courses. That's not a bad idea in my book.

Happened right beside my mom's place. She was thankfully in Bellingham at a casino at the time. Still jarring.

Well one less face on them now, as one of the Whistler dead is from the poster.

Though they could easily add Robby Alkhalil to that poster since he escaped from a max security prison last week. Though I'm guessing he's not even in the country anymore by now.

Derailing... but tax all non-city owned public golf courses at the rate of which undeveloped land zoned for a reasonable density would go in the area
Now, I admit I don't know much about City tax policy, and perhaps this post shows that. But don't private golf courses get taxed at a rate way less then what undeveloped land would in the same area, essentially subsidizing a rich persons game?
