Since June 1st Raimel Tapia has a .327 average / .884 OPS / 146 wRC+
He's now at 0.0 fWAR for the season and 96 wRC+
That's quite a come back.
Grichuk at -0.7 fWAR and 77 wRC+
See how the 2nd half goes, but looking like Atkins made out pretty good with this trade at the mid point.

Tapia is paid $6 million less than Grichuk too. He’s the kind of guy that you can use as more of a platoon without feeling like you are underutilizing a player who is being paid $10m per season.

So far with limited sample I’m really liking Schneider’s choices for pitching changes, and his aggressive take on base running. That alone was worth the manager change. It’s not rocket science come game time.
