YES! YES! YES!

Thank you Brad Richards! 2 unassisted goals from MVP Brad.

Awesome performance from Miller. Good recovery from the first game.

GO HAWKS!!!

The Canucks battled in a low scoring game but were unable to find the offense to win the game. Both teams' penalty killers will flawless, perhaps making the biggest difference in the game.

Stefan will dress for game 3.

Avs rebound nicely after a tough loss in Game 1. Huet regains his form. As Mango stated, penalty killing was perfect on both sides, with both teams going 0 for 7. Still, the Canucks steal home ice advantage in this one.

Hawks tie series at 1

Oil turn in a poor performance in game 2 of their first round match up with the Hawks.

Only goals of the contest came from the stick of P.E.I boy Brad Richards in a 2-0 loss. Oil fired 28 shots on Miller, but was unable to find the back of the net. Of the 28 shots, only 12 came from the offence, something the Oil will have to work on.

Patrice Elias injured in game 1 should be ready to go for game 3 in Chicago Sunday Night. “Ya I am feeling a little better I guess, its play-off hockey so you learn to suck it up after a few seasons. You hate to watch from the press box this time of year, so if all goes well during the pre skate tomorrow,,, I may get the nod. At this point it is up to the trainers, they know I want to play” stated Elias.

With Elias in the line-up the Oil scored 8 times in the series opener, well look for the offense to open up again in game 3.

Positive notes ……. Martin stopped 35 of 37 shots in game 2 , getting the play-off form going, after spending the last 2 weeks of the regular season watching from the press box as Emery seen some well deserved playing time.

The Oil D fired 16 shots on Miller in game 2, fired 13 shots in game 1 and accumulated 6 points collectively in game 1 ……… the oil D is active early in the series.

After gaining 3 points in game 1….. look for Iggy to get it going in Chicago

Game 3 in Chicago ……….. should be a good one!
