I think Kyrou is definitely a tier above both Hintz and Robertson.
Prospect wise, its probably close.
NJD still my #1 with the possibility of Bratt, Holtz, 1st etc

Dallas ownership has been going thru the media and telling them their star players can give WAY more.

You take out Hintz and I'd still run for that deal. Assuming Robertson was signed.

Kyrou, Hinz and Robertson are in the same class. If anything I’d tak Robertson over the other 2

Hintz isn't even a prospect at 25.
Kyrou is better than Bratt or Robertson, but they are pretty darn good (though Robertson was handled pretty well by Calgary in the POs).

Oettinger also needs a contract, though I imagine he's less than Markstrom.

Johnston had 124 points in 68 games in his D+1 season after not playing any hockey in his draft year. Plays centre and has good size for the position.
To get him with one of Hintz or Robertson would be a nice return. Would rather have Kyrou over Robertson, but Hintz and Kyrou are roughly equal to me, Hintz's position and size put him slightly ahead.

The Devils make the most sense as rumours are they have been shopping Bratt this summer. My guess is they don't like the contract talks with him either.
Kyrou just doesn't make enough money to not have to make the trade complicated with players needing to be dumped. The Devils have Holtz to go with other high end young players and cap space with Bratt being someone who also is looking for a big pay day now. This isn't an issue for the Flames and Kyrou will be looking to get paid just 1 year later so from Flames presepctive it's the same but for the Blues they really have to unload alot to get Tkachuk signed including another year of Kyrou at a killer cap hit. The Blues will value that 1 year at $2.8 mil more than the Flames will

Kyrou has to be involved if it's the Blues...I wouldn't even talk to them if they are saying no

Why is Kyrou better? Robertson is a year younger, had a better point per game average, and scored 41 goals.. playing for Bowness.

I definitely don't see Kyrou as being "better" than Robertson. Maybe a better fit though. Robertson is American. I think Bratt is good but not in the same group as the other two.

I wouldn't package Markstrom in the Tkachuk deal. I think he will be worth at lot on his own. Many of the top contenders have a question mark in goal. Even the champs have questionable goaltending. You could argue on the state of goaltending for the Canes, Leafs, Bruins, Pens, Knights, Blues, Wild as well. Some of their choices will work out, several won't, and they will need a goalie to contend

Ultimately. My dream wish is Barzal and Dobson from the islanders .
Barzal has a dynomite engine and Dobson looks really good IMO.
Barzal posseses something I can't quite put a finger on but he's a leader .

Just eye test, basically. Kyrou just looks like more of a star player. Robertson is an American of course, if that's a concern.
Other things: Hintz has a year left on a sweet deal. Then he's an RFA with arb rights. Ditto Kyrou. Robertson is an unsigned RFA right now. He's got to be looking for $8M. You'd have to talk with him to see what he wants and if he's going to be trouble. Maybe they have to acquire his tiny brother from Toronto - he was PPG with the Marlies last year.
