Yet another music thread
Another thread related to music slightly inspired by the Alanis my humps stuff. We know what CP hates. So, what have you been listening to lately? 1-3 bands that you've been listening to a lot lately (not necessarily favorite of all time)
For me?
Kaiser Chiefs (the new album 'Yours Truly, Angry Mob' specifically) and anything by Reel Big Fish (who are just plain good musicians http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rW1cL7N9GE0 <--(work/children warning, some f-bombs)

Tool-10,000 Days....have been listening to it since the day it came out. Phenomenal.
Pearl Jam-Binaural Haven't been able to take it out of the CD changer for the last couple of weeks.
Black Label Society-Shot to Hell...my latest purchase and my first for this particular band. Bought it by mistake actually, thought I was getting their previous CD. This one is good though. I like them...a fairly unique sound and of course, Zak Wylde can play a little bit.

some old school Rage Against the Machine, Wake Up to be specific. There is this riff near the end of the song that I absolutely love!
EDIT: Right, the other two bands
Goo Goo Dolls and Tool

Futuresex/Lovesounds
Jack Johnson
Pink Floyd
every exam period one album usually becomes the "main focus" last year it was jesus christ superstar OST and Jack Johnson.
In December it was "The Wall" and Jack Johnson
Futuresex seems to be leading the charge, I'm sure in about 2 weeks i'll have to switch from boredom.

The last two cd's I picked up recently were Finger 11's new one, which is alright, kinda gone away from the stuff that I liked them for, but still, it's okay. And I also picked up BIlly Talent's latest, get away from their popularity and the fact that they are huge with teenage girls and actually listen to their stuff, its actually very good. New CD is pretty good.
