The Saskatchewan Roughriders will not be practicing on Tuesday due to an outbreak of COVID-19 throughout the organization.
The team issued the following statement explaining the situation on Monday.
Several members of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and their support staff have recently tested positive for COVID-19. As the team travelled together across the country, all players, coaches and staff will undergo mandatory testing for the next several days. The Club is working with the CFL Medical Committee and following all COVID-19 policies and procedures set by the CFL.
Out of an abundance of caution, the team will not practice on Tuesday but is expecting to resume all on-field activities on Wednesday.

He really should have been ejected from the game - The fact that he not only goes on to play, but scores a TD in that game is embarrassing for the CFL. At least the Argos ended up winning the game thus there was some justice in the end.

Apparently the officials were on the field at the time of the incident. The call would have had to come from CFL headquarters and I don't know enough about those protocols if that's possible.

This is a much better and fairer resolution to this situation than some of the other options
(i.e. looking at dates in November) that would have adversely affected the Argos.

Ed Hervey was deservedly tossed for swinging his helmet at an opponent (Sanchez) in a game against the Stamps. Duke Williams should have been ejected for a similar action.
