I agree with you. I’ve had game pack tickets since ‘05. This is probably the first time I’ve given it a hard though about having them.

Yeah, Lindholm lost the 2 best wingers he’s ever played with and his cousin all within 1 week. Honestly, I hope he asks for a trade too. If this organization doesn’t believe in rebuilds, then let the players force their hand.
Rebuild, find the next McDavid or the next Makar and build through the draft. Don’t rush the rebuild and then build your team through free agency. This is why Canadian teams never win Cups, our impatience and desire to win now leads to rushed rebuilds and mistakes.

STL - Kyrou, ROR/Senko (cap), 1st - reasonable enough, like the idea of flipping ROR or Tarasenko at the deadline too.
VGK - Karlsson/Smith (cap), McNabb/Whitecloud (cap), 1st? - meh, boring, doubt they're interested anyway, they just traded Patches to get under the cap
FLA - I can't even figure out a way to sort out a trade with Florida, no 1st in the next 2 drafts, and they're right against the cap and the pieces they'd give up I don't see us wanting
NSH - Tolvanen, Jeannot, 1st - meh, don't hate it, don't love it
DAL - Kiviranta/Gurianov, Bourque, 1st - same as NSH
But all that said, I'm not getting my hopes up and expecting we trade him for a B-prospect & 2nd round pick.

I would wait and see. It will take some magic, but the Flames could make a recovery with the right moves.
Probably looking at a dip for a couple of seasons though.
Get Kyrou here, 2+ firsts in 2023, Coronato, Kerins, Pelletier, Poirier through the system?
Use some of that cap flexibility on the huge names available next free agency?
Could be back and better set up in 3 seasons.

It's been said but respect to Tkachuk, at least he had the cahones to be transparent instead of being a little indecisive weasel up to the last minute.
Hope Tkachuk's list of teams he is willing to go to isn't too small or we could get absolutely destroyed on this deal.

Lindholm is probably the most valuable guy on the roster given he has 2 years of making less than $5m and is a top line centre. Him or Andersson I guess.

I have no interest in any of those deals besides the Blues and if Dallas wants Tkachuk I want Robertson or they can FO.
