Guy and that whole Family owe Francis an apology!
He is not "awesome" he's as big a fraud as Johnny.

He spent no time in Columbus. He knows none of the players. He knows nothing about the city. His wife has never even been there.
How lazy is that? This is the biggest decision of his life and he literally put zero effort into it.
The flames dodged a bullet. The risk of this contract aging poorly is through the roof.
We're all trying to figure out motive, when it's staring us right in the face. This guy is kind of dumb and super lazy

Dude's a wet noodle. So sad for the city and team that their star offensive player doesn't have clarity in what his goals are. Most people in his situation have a singular drive for winning. He doesn't even have his hands on the wheel of his own life.

Very good description of him IMO
Probably why he had his best seasons under task master type coaches.
Imagine what he could do if he had the drive to push himself that hard. The talent is off the charts, the drive behind that talent is very lacking.
Most stars relish the opportunity to build a legacy with one team.

4 days no comment.
Tavares told the NYIS he would leave for TO and was roundingly booed in NY. Legacy be damned.
Eichel made it clear he wanted out of Buffalo and during his "tribute" video he was booed more than cheered and BTW took it like a man a shot right back.
Johnny and his family were treated like royalty here. The family repeatedly told everyone they loved it here for years. Said nothing until the 11th hour and left.
Johnny will get booed when he returns.
Really not interested in "fans" who don't apparantly want his feelings hurt.
I'll leave this string alone for another 4-5 days and see if its still at the top.

Its a goddamned 'thread' you monster!

Unless he said something later but on Tim and Friends he said it was only with wife and mom at the last supper table.

Lol at Johnny hoping we get over it soon. Does that guy think about a single thing he says for someone in such a public/star role?
"Hey, I just don't want to be with you anymore, but hey look at the upside - hopefully you get it over it and move on!".

BTW - for the record - as a liberal snowflake or whatever people who've defended Gaudreau in here were called - I support booing him. Its our team and he didn't choose us - boo away.

^ This. The more we hear from him, the clearer it becomes that this team is better off not committing that kind of money on a player and person like him. Winning does not seem to be a priority of his. Not at all.
