How is the new SNC / Bombardier Horticultural Company doing these days ?

I'm going to spend mine buying as much coal as I can which I shall then set on fire.

I am undecided on whether or not to chant FREEDOM!!! as I do it.

My deposit was $10,984. Came with a note saying "Thanks for being a Trudeau fanboy and Liberal apologist."

Pays to play the game, folks.

I'm going to pretend like this rebate was never coming and I was simply paying into the Trudope Turd Tax that fed the grease wheels of the Laurentian Elites.

On a totally unrelated note, I'm taking myself and three friends out for a nice steak dinner tonight.

Well, that's not environmentally friendly at all.

Hmm. We’re a family of 4 with 2 kids under 18 and got about $550. What’s the criteria for this payment?

Climate Incentive Action Payments
The Alberta program provides an annual credit of:

$539 for an individual
$270 for a spouse or common-law partner
$135 per child under 19
$270 for the first child in a single-parent family

The payments are quarterly, but due to delays in the program today's payment includes the April payment as well (so half of your annual credit).

I have a family of 4 which works out to $1,079 per year, got a payment of half that ($539.50).

This probably sounded smarter in your head than it does in print.

What a buzzkill. You are even more cranky today than most days. Relax, have some fun and enjoy the weather.

Better to just idle in the driveway. New tires aren’t cheap. Open the windows and blast the AC too.

$550 should just about cover a tank of fuel and two rear tires unless inflation has really jacked up tire prices.

Strongly disagree as I pride myself on being consistently cranky from one day to another.

Also, it’s too damn hot outside.
