If Johnny decided to sign with a rival like Edmonton, Vancouver, or Vegas(just cause) for less money, then I would burn it. But the fact he chose to move out east to be closer to home, I may not like the choice or agree with it but I appreciate what he did for the franchise and I will keep my jersey with the rest of my collection of former flames and remember the good times!

Isn’t this the same sad #### that people made fun of Oiler’s fans for Pronger wanting to leave?
Gaudreau was a face of the franchise that didn’t have a face post Iginla so I can see why it hurts… however this type of stuff just reeks of pettiness and reinforces why NHL players rarely choose to sign with Canadian teams (without massive overpayments).

I won't be burning my jersey, insteady will be wearing it with a big X over Gaudreau's name.
He had an interview today and said "He can't believe what a big deal this has been come in the hockey world". If he's that out of touch with reality, then see ya "John".

There's a youtube video going viral where there is this old man in Calgary with a Gaudreau jersey and he calls him a little bastard and rambles on and on and the video cuts out before he can burn the jersey. People are strange.
