Florida hasn't actually accomplished anything yet. We'll see. Their forward group is nice, but they got pretty badly shown up by TB in the POs. I'll say this - they are similarly built to NJD especially if Gaudreau winds up in NJ. But man do they have holes still. They need goaltending badly.

The Devils are a long way away from even contending (and remember that they compete in the toughest division in the league and finished far out of the playoffs), so by the time they end up being a perennial playoff contender, Johnny will be on the latter half of his contract... the real question is will Johnny still be in 2021/22 form then?
