Tod Button said that Bell has never been exposed to high level training and the Flames scouts believe that once he commits to it, he will take off.

Bit of a David Moss late bloomer feel to this kid.

This is a great pick. I mean, c'mon, who hasn't heard of Parker Bell's cannon?

Full beast mode. Beasty, beasty kid. I heard he wears two shirts so that when he goes full beast mode and rips off his shirt he is still has a shirt on and is fully dressed. Classy.

Played on a brutal team and by seasons end worked his way up to the 1st line to finish 2nd in team scoring, not that it means much but he'll probably turn out to be the Flames best pick in this draft IMO.

Scoring Winger

Hopefully if he ever plays for the Flames, even in an exhibition game and he scores, that they unleash the Taco Bell gong!

I was going to say the same, Dad acting like he’s been there before. He’s like grumpy cat: “good. Should have been 3rd round.”

Tri-City was the second-worst team in the WHL, with the 3rd least goals for. This kid had really good production for someone in that position.

Maybe the Flames can develop him as a blueliner. Then it can be Parker Bell's Cannon on D.

I like this pick in the 5th. I imagine his production will go up next year.
