Some small marble sized hail in Castleridge, and downpour. I was completely soaked trying to cover the garden and move flower pots to cover.
Power blipped off for a few seconds as well.

Hail and crazy rain in Saddleridge. Thankfully it's small hail (pea sized?) but the rain. Looking out my window was like being in a car wash. Little lake on the front lawn and the cars driving by on the main road are making HUGE waves.

Heard a neighbour's emergency alert go off on their phone about an hour ago. I just got mine now. Even says "At 4:28pm, an alert was issued..."
Thanks for the heads up, alert system.

Since everyone else got them on time (thousands of phones in unison here at the airport) then it's an issue with your cell carrier and not the alert system.

Was pretty wild rain in the Beltline for a bit and some very dark clouds...but now it's already passed and back to blue skies. Hopefully it's a similar case around the city!

Surprisingly quick storm here. Had about 10 to 15 minutes of rain and it was over.

Just a big wind that went through Killarney. One big crack of thunder. Not a drop of rain.

It was tongue in cheek. Weirdly though, my wife and son elsewhere in the house got it at 4:30 (Rogers)

Totally agree! What's funny is I've lived here since 99 and it was only when the pandemic started and our lazy asses decided we'd just start going for long walks around the area and realized that it was much nicer than we thought. So much so that we've looked at houses to buy in the community. Lots of foot paths to boot. Some backyards in the area are amazing. Kinda sad to admit tbh but never though much of it and never really explored on foot until recently.

Havnt seen this confirmed - but if true, it certainly isnt for a lack of trying. That cell was hit hard by 3 of the seeding planes for a good half an hour. Crazy since the pilots all live in Olds temporarily during the hail season. Not often theyre fighting for their own homes
