I miss Calgary summer weather. Always really loved the summer storms.

Hopefully it cleared up for the poster that needs to fly, it's gorgeous sunny skies in the deep south of Calgary right now. In typical Calgary fashion, that doesn't necessarily mean it's nice over the airport, but I figure that's a good sign anyway

It actually didn't impact things at all. The lightning delay lifted at about 9:20 and they managed to load up the flight and get us out of gate by 10:05 only 5 minutes late.

The cloud seeding forecast has the potential for some supercells today and walnut sized hail in the Calgary area:

Perfect for my flight home tonight. Looks like the rain should start right around the time that my flight lands so that we have a nice wet walk back to the car.

Oh man rugby practice on Monday was insane.

Tonight looks to be tracking the same.

I wish it was hotter.

It's not 30 degrees or anything, but after today we look to be solidly in the mid 20s with mostly sunny skies the next few days. Everything's green now, I agree it's time for some proper summer weather. Looking forward to the next few days and getting my summer skin back.

What does 34 do for you that 28 doesn't? Just out of curiosity. To me 28 is hot and feels amazing. But you can also still do sports and activities in relative comfort. Once you push over 30 I can sit and drink somewhere and that's about it.

Floating on a lake is the only thing I can think of, and UCB loves doing that.

I'm with you, though. I run hot at all times, anyway, so anything over 28 is miserable for me. My sweet spot is 19 - 22, but for hanging out at the lake I can go quite a bit hotter.

My Jambox Bro nailed it. I love spending time paddle boarding and floating in the lake, 34 is perfect for that.

A year ago during the heatwave I kayaked on a lake at 10 pm in +35 and it was one of the most enjoyable experiences.

People that can't take +30 are wimps.

Mountain lakes are especially cold. A scorcher of a day helps to make them feel pool temperature.

Guess I'm a wimp, because I don't even enjoy the Carribean when it's that hot. High 20s is great. Mid 30s is too much for me.
