That article is from 2005.

Yeah, that's the point. There just isn't reliable data out there. The "news" is all anecdotal and not reliant on empirical data. Terrible shift in supporting assumptions. Hence the request for the citation to the study which led to the assumption.

This could get spicy.
Georgia grand jury investigating former President Donald Trump's attempts to overturn the 2020 election has subpoenaed Rudy Giuliani, Lindsey Graham, John Eastman and others.
I think senator Graham will crumble like a creampuff if he thinks his political future is in jeopardy, doubt he will lie for Trump under oath.

I assume they will either try their best to avoid attending and/or plead the 5th like General Mathis- And remember what Trump said about those who plead the 5th-

I don’t get it.
Britain. France. Australia. Obviously culturally biased towards those nations.

Warning, extreme profanity... I used to be happy that Canada wasn't anything like that but unfortunately I hear similar things about Trudeau from some people I know or on social media. Not quite as profane, but the sentiments are the same.

People drive around with “##### Trudeau” flags on their trucks and even here, in a well moderated space, spew some nasty stuff. No doubt there’s language at least as bad as this coming from them in private.
Who would want to be a politician in Canada or the US? People are insane.

Honestly? That was relatively tame and I heard the same guy 5 times, but each time I heard him he became less and less scary. By the end I was laughing at these idiots. That one lady hoping for the wrath of God to come down on him? Hilarious. She must be an old testament fan. Not much of that in the new testament. I love these god-loving people that have absolutely no idea how their own faith works. ####ing heee-larious.

It won’t go over well in the senate if Graham pleads the 5th.

There is a whole industry built around telling people the Democrats/Liberals/NDP/Greens are out to get you. (Yes - the same thing happens on the other side but not nearly as lucrative or popular).
People get riled up and lose touch with reality. Too much media built around getting people raging.

A guy I know has gone deep down the Trudeau obsession rat-hole. Makes daily posts about him on LinkedIn. Last time I saw him a year ago that’s all he would talk about. We’ve been avoiding him socially, but mutual friends are having a BBQ on Saturday. Bracing myself for the rage-storm, and wondering how to diplomatically (for the sake of our hosts) tell him to stfu.

And he’s a financial advisor. I guess he’s happy to restrict his clientele to the 15 per cent or so of people who are as bonkers as he is.

I've seen these #######s outside of Mission on a weekly basis now, protesting...? ... god knows what. But many will have signs like "Hang Trudeau for Treason".
Its idiotic and its dangerous.
There's a segment of extremists out there that are going down a slippery slope.

The all-consuming rage is so weird. I have a fb "friend" who has had Justin Trudeau's blackface picture as his profile pic for a solid two years now. It appears to be his identity and I worry what happens next.
I've never hated any politician like I hate Donald Trump, but aside from the odd post in here, and reading about him in MSM, I don't talk about it at work or have bumper stickers or Eff Trump pillow cases.

Shouldn't Linkedin posts be subject to employer review? Facebook is personal and maybe a murkier area, but Linkedin is professional, you are representing your employer, no? You can't turn your linkedin account into political rants.
