Preseason should start sooner, so the season can start sooner, so the playoffs can start sooner.

I hate preseason. Wish we had no games. Angers me everytime that I have to pay full price for the games with the season tickets.

Too many games. 5 games should be enough. 3 for rookies. 2 for near regular season roster to ramp up.

Full schedule they said in July from what I have read. Not sure when though. It has been a while since things where normal, but I recall the schedule usually getting released before the draft. With how things have gone they may release just before free agency starts

Taking a while to get to 5000

Friedman suggested it might be this week. Wouldn't shock me to see it tomorrow honestly, ahead of the draft.
Also I'm in the minority but I love the pre-season games. Watching people who might not make the team looking for a job, the unique situations a coach might put the player(s) in. Last year for example Sutter chose to have a good long look at Kylington and it reaped rewards in season.

There has been mention of a development camp in mid July in some articles and interviews.
Nothing official from the team yet.
Probably get the announcement after the draft so the new draft class can participate and some undrafted prospects get invited.

Development camp used to line up with Stampede to give the young prospects bonding opportunity as well. I wonder if they try to do that this year, even though the schedule hasn’t completely come back to normal yet. Will be tight post draft though

I believe they are switching back to this next year - at least that's the goal.

When I had season tix, I shared with 3 others, and we divided the annual cost by 41
Our pre season tickets were then free and nobody got angry

Those first 7 games are not fun, no real easing into the season this year.

Intresting....playing San Jose twice in San Jose Dec 18-20 and the twice in St Louis January 10-12.....don't think I've seen that done before, let alone twice.
Only three games against Edmonton?
