I was trying to avoid bringing it up as I hate it when guys play all-world against our Canadian guys and then revert to being a tomato can against the next guy they face.

Cressy beats Felix
Sock beats Cressy
Kubler beats Sock and will likely play Fritz next.

If Nadal wins today, his next opponent will be BVDZ.

But Nakashima beats Denis and then crushed Galan, as expected.

He gets the winner of Kyrgios/Tsitsipas

Wowza, that was an exceptional level of tennis from Amanda Anisimova over the last two sets after dropping the first to Coco in a tie-break. 6-7 6-2 6-1 to AA and she gets Harmony Tan next.

How are these two matches being played essentially at the same time? Sorry Rafa, but I'm more interested in watching Nick vs. Stef.

What's going on, Iga has dropped another set. Can Alize Cornet pull off the upset?

Yeah Iga has turned into a pumpkin today. Taking the 3+ weeks off and not doing any grass tourneys leading in is a definite mistake. Cornet is making every shot but Iga has clearly let that get to her and is trying to paint lines and cut points short for no good reason. She just looks like she doesn't have any interest in being on a tennis court right now.

Probably wouldn't have mattered, she has no footing on grass, she's off balanced and can't plant, scared to turn her ankle.

... Isn't that exactly WHY you would play tune-up tourneys on the surface to try to get more comfortable with it?

She could have played one I guess. But too little time, her style of getting to balls quickly on the baseline and sliding and planting doesn't work on grass.

Krygios is pure entertainment, playing fast, hitting all first serves and then dropshots that don't even get to the net.

He just won the 2nd set not giving a bleep and the crowd is clearly behind him.

And he's called for a supervisor, Tsitsipas just hit a ball into the crowd.

Tsitsipas is very lucky, they ball could have hit the fan in the head.

You are talking about a guy who threw a racquet out of the stadium!

He has no say.

Meh, Greek Yogurt is no angel either. He's verbally abused umpires in the past, tons of coaching violations, has treated ball kids with disdain. His veneer is just a little shinier than Nick's lol
