I don’t buy it. Dems wouldn’t do ####. They had 50 years. They are spineless. That’s what pisses me off the most about them, they use the republicans as this big boogie man and “vote for us or else” and then they do nothing.
With abortion outlawed after six weeks in Ohio, physicians in neighboring Indiana described an influx of out-of-state patients seeking care. Among them: a pregnant 10-year-old.
Dr. Caitlin Bernard, an Indianapolis obstetrician-gynecologist, told the Indianapolis Star that just three days after the federal right to an abortion was reversed she received a call from a colleague, a child abuse doctor in Ohio, who needed her help. The physician had a pregnant patient, a 10-year-old, who could no longer legally undergo the procedure in her home state.
if you end the filibuster or expand the court the republicans will just kill you in the future. With no fillibuster, they could kill healthcare.
AOC acts like the Democrats will be in power forever.

There are probably 3rd world country's with better overall healthcare than the USA.

Data that I saw showed that depending on the metric, the U.S. ranks between 15th and 72nd in the world in health care out of 191 countries. Canada was between 7th and 32nd. The U.S. however was 1st in health care costs per capita.

I honestly don't understand how, given what things appear to be like down there, no one has taken a shot at Scalia or Thomas.

Unless there's another prominent Scalia you're referring to??? Help me out here.
I'm sure he just means Scalia's crap budget-clone, Alito.
It's still early, but if I were a betting man, I'd put my money on DeSantis now to be the Republican nominee. Like, sure, "No PoiNt dOinG tHEse JaN 6 hEArinGs" and all that, but the latest polls since the hearings have started are showing pretty impactful dips in support for Trump. One of the goals of these hearings was to prevent Trump from being able to ever run again. Don't think they'll achieve that technically, but in 2024, DeSantis would be the smart choice with much less baggage. And the GOP is smart, and will see this.
If this happens, it'll be interesting to see if Trump tries to steal the nomination from DeSantis.
