I messed up his name. My mistake.

I didn’t see that as a dive at all. Was just a fluke his stick got in there and down he went. Missed the 3rd period one. I thought they were doing their best to let them play.

Was a very entertaining game and can’t wait for Sunday’s match.

You know the refs sucked ass if Cale Makar is mad. Crybaby Cooper got his wish.

So Avs have generally outplayed TB. But TB scored late to break a tie in game 5 and make it 3-2. Is anyone saying Avs are going to win for sure? That TB can’t come on on the back of a great goalie and good offensive players like Kucherov and Stamkos?

Because I’m reliably told when a team is down 3-1 having been generally outplayed and could have made it 3-2 except a late goal was called back that it didn’t really matter. Because they were always going to lose.

If Tampa is anything, it's resilient when things are on the line. It's not going to be an easy series to close out, but with 2 shots left, I have to think that Colorado won't be denied. Wouldn't be shocked if it goes to 7 though.

Might be trying too hard here. Flames have no one to blame but themselves for not putting themselves in a better position. And they certainly didn’t show they could hold a lead in that series either.

If I were a reporter in the post game I’d ask Cooper if the reffing was up to his high standards that game, or if anything had broken his heart this game.
I’d promptly be fired from whichever media outlet I was working for, but it’d be worth it…

Landeskog is a beauty:
Gabriel Landeskog on the officiating: “I’m not going to get into that. That’s something they can continue to do, but we’re not doing that.”

And TB has? You are missing the point. I’m not excusing the Flames for their position in game 5. I’m saying no one is automatically eliminating TB now and giving them no chance, when that is exactly what they were saying for the Flames.

Gutsy win by the Lightning. One wonders what this series would be if Point was playing as they are one of the most resilient playoff teams I have seen as they are never out of it.

Well they can blame the league too for stealing a late goal...Avs/Lightning would never have had that goal overturned

Imagine having a team as good as Tampa to cheer for that is backed up by a goalie that is as good as Vasilevski. And not just good, but locks it down for the guys in front of him when they aren't at their best, or are over matched.

To be fair 31 other teams wish they had that level of goaltending. Lightning fans are spoiled.

Well...yeah. That was always going to happen. Vasilevsky is routinely in the conversation as one of the top 3 goalies in the League, ergo The World.

I have to ask. Who is better than Vasilevsky though? I feel like he has earned the right to be taken out of the conversation and just be labelled the best in the game today.
