So the service game at 5-6 is a perfect example of experience and making adjustments in the moment. Hurkacz misses two first serves close, and nearly double faults on the second, leading to going down 0-30. The rest of the game he doesn't miss a first serve... because he puts them nowhere CLOSE to any of the lines. Comes back and holds without much drama.
EDIT: And now Felix has missed both of his first serves to start the tiebreak and lost both points off 2nd serve as a result. Sometimes it's easy to see what the difference is even in a close match.

He's not playing poorly at all, but FAA needs to do a better job of testing Hurkacz's range. He's allowing Hurcaz to hit too many high percentage shots from the middle of the baseline, and a player like this is going to eat that up all day long.
FAA can still take this match over by hitting out wide and moving forward when the situation presents itself. Hitting a few more slices would also really force Hurkacz out of his comfort zone.

Not much you can do when Hurkacz is painting lines.

41 winners to 22 unforced errors for Felix. He actually won one more point that Hurkacz did in the match. Tough loss.

Yeah that's just a tip your cap sort of a loss. I think there were things he could have done that might have put him in a better place to win but I can't really say that there's anything disappointing about that showing. He'll be looking back on those first two Hurkacz service games where he was up 0-30 and then had a break point later on as the only missed opportunities because by set 2 HH's service game was fairly unassailable.

Too bad. FAA played well enough to win but simply got out tactic'd by Hurkcaz in this match. The good thing is that the Canadian is serving really well and that is going to take him a long way at Wimbledon.
Hopefully a solid week of practice will get some of the hiccups out of his game - I do think he's close to second week level if he can just clean a few things up.

Yup, Felix certainly had his chances, but Hurkacz was very clutch today when he needed to be (only 6 unforced errors the entire match). I would say 9 times out of 10 the level that Felix brought today should win the match, it was just one of those days. If anything, I would like to see Felix come to net more, but Hurkacz really didn't give him many opportunities.

Genie has decided not to play Wimbledon due to the WTA's decision not to award ranking points.

Heck of a match earlier today between Maria and Belinda Bencic, Bencic won it 6-7 6-4 6-4 in a match that lasted a little over 3 hours, look out for Belinda at Wimbledon, she's playing some fine tennis in 2022.

More tie-breaker roulette between Hurkacz and Kyrgios today as Hubi takes it 4-6 7-6 7-6. Meddy vs. Hubi for all the marbles in Halle on Sunday.

This is a good way to get your hopes up and then have them completely dashed... remember the US Open until she got to Raducanu? She looked like she could have won the doubles title playing against two opponents on her own, and then... boom, out, gone, done.

I'd say Djokovic is the favorite, followed by Nadal and Berrettini is #3 , Hubi #4 and Felix #5
