First concert ever -- Platinum Blonde at the Jubilee.

I also saw Skid Row which probably should be embarassing but isn't. It was around the time of the Gulf War and Sebastien Bach gave us his personal views of world politics and he had a clever name for Saddam -- get this, he called him "Saddam F@#$%^& Insane"!

Embarrassing for the act, not me was T Rex...they were so bad that noone understood what they were playing..hence they were booed off the stage. We were saved by their backup band that night, a new group that was just getting rolling, Blue Oyster Cult!

As far as what you guys may think were embarrassing, Ive seen Neil Sedaka, Abba and The BeeGees.

I don't think I've been embarassed about any concert I've been to (and I've been to a lot). Some of what others have laughed at:

Sha Na Na
Gowan
Brooks & Dunn
Garth Brooks
Honeymoon Suite/Harem Scarem double bill

The most disappointing concert I've ever seen was Depeche Mode, around 96. I don't think they knew what city they were in.

I don't go to concerts, therefore I don't have to be embarassed about going to them

You can't say that I was dating a girl that was a huge New Kids on the Block fan and she dragged me to the concert with a promise that I could take her to one of my concerts with no argument.

She really hated Iron Maiden.

albertGQ went to Usher.

I went to a Barenaked Ladies concert back in the day, it was very enjoyable though. It doesn't come up in conversation alot however.

I'm a fan of the BNL. Their last concert back in April at the dome was very entertaining. It's as much show as music with them.

trailer park boys at cowboy's in edmonton, last october or so.

they opened the doors at 7, we stood there like idiots until 10.

bubbles sang a couple of songs, there was a 30-second look-a-like contest, a bunch of women took their tops off on stage (ok that wasn't too bad), and julian clinked his drink with everyone.

15-20 minutes, then they booked.

love the tv show, but man!

what a bad 'concert'... billed as a musical act, vickers' biker backers are rich men for a reason.

Ha ha that's good.

A friend of mine actually paid $15 to see Steve-0 and the little fella from Jackass at some bar. They showed up at midnight with no props, no stage, no nothing and the guy acted like a fool for a few minutes, stapled his sac to his leg and then left.

He wasn't so much embarassed as angry. They say there is one born every minute and apparently that minute was my buddy's.

does he re-staple that thing or something?

like iggy pop with his famous reopen-for-every-show knife wound?

i thought he was going to jail for that - but i can't keep track.

these guys have to keep re-inventing their brand of extreme, it's kinda like a train wreck fascination many fans have with them - someone should write a book aboot it.

Gowan at Calaway Park. Glam rock at its finest baby....I even waited outside his trailer so I could get an autoraph.

I went to Steve-O at the UofC last year for New Years, it was HORRIBLE. The best part was when he climbed a step ladder, then told the crowd to toss their beer at him. I think everyone was so mad that the show sucked so bad that they FIRED their beer at him, full or not. It was brutal, I'd guess that there was close to a couple hundred cans fired at him, and he had to leave when a full one bounced off his skull.

I was looking for something to do last new years, and thought that show would of been half decent. Good thing I didn't spend like $40 to go see it.

LOL. That reminds me of two more I saw at the "Alphamilk Stage" at Calaway Park - Luba and Glass Tiger. Classic.

I remember hearing about that. No one was too pleased at what an ***hole Steve-O is.
