Ottawa was on the 35 with 6 seconds left and didn't get a FG attempt. Yeah; that was really bad clock management by Ottawa

I've really liked Ottawas game so far. Surprised to see Bombers pull ahead. I still think Ottawa may find a way here.

The Lions probably could have put 80 up on them, if they'd decided to.

Instead they kind of laid off in the third quarter.

Its Chris Jones, I'd be telling my OC that I want 100.

Argos first in the East without playing a game, typical.

That was a pretty solid week 1 of football, on a number of fronts.

Unless you’re an Elks fan, but the point stands…

That was about as bad a game as you will see from a defense. When Jones doesn't have the personnel to run his defense the results can be really bad.

Ya I guess that’s just the way football is… chasing a few more touchdowns puts your players at unnecessary risk of injury.

The Montreal Alouettes have officially placed running back William Stanback on the six-game injured list after the former CFL all-star was carted off the field during Thursday’s season opener.

Stanback, who had been limited in practice with an ankle injury leading up to the game, received a blow to the lower leg early in the second quarter and did not return. He was briefly taken to the hospital by team doctors before returning to the sideline on crutches.

The Alouettes have not provided any additional information about the nature of Stanback’s injury. However, head coach Khari Jones said post-game that he did not believe the ankle was broken.

The Tabbies & Elks don't look very good. Not to put the cart before the white horse, but the Stamps could be looking at a 4-0 start here...

^^ I didn’t notice until now but the Stamps have 5 “home and away” series this year. Was that a point of emphasis for scheduling or just a random anomoly?

I'm sure the One Republic concert brought in some additional people, but even if the Lions can get 25K+ on a regular basis, that would be great.
