I was confused about how there was room for all three of them in the snowspeeder. In ESB, there's a rear gunner, but it still only seemed big enough for the pilot and the gunner.

^ Yup. I had the toy as a kid. Your assessment of space checks out.
We're not supposed to question the details of a lot of things within the show, it appears.

Like I've said, this is more Anakin then Vader.
What I hope to see obviously. The final confrontation. Ben starts strong and uses the Force like a true Master, he lays a whooping on his former Padawan. He hits Vader and knocks his mask off, and for a brief second we see the spark of good maybe in Vader, and it makes Obi-Wan hesitate. Then Vader comes back and connects with a lucky blow that drives Ben over a cliff and supposedly into Lava (I'd love to have the final fight take place on Mustafar. Vader assumes that Ben has died he looks down with a look of minor regret and then satisfaction. Vader is finally past his petty need for revenge, and starts moving from being Anakin to being the Vader in Rogue One and the OT.
Kenobi lies at the bottom of the cliff, he somehow knows that Vader thinks he's dead. At that point he has a conversation with Qui-gon, who reminds him of his duty to the force and to Anakin's children and tells him to return to Tattooine and look over the child, and in exchange Qui-Gon commits to training him in terms of immortality.
Meanwhile a battered Vader who knows that he's not a master of the Dark Side kneels in front of Sidious, who tells him that his need for revenge against the Jedi is over and even if the Jedi are alive, they're inconsequential and doing penance. The Revenge of the Sith is complete with the death of Obi-Wan, Yoda is surely dead or exiled, now Vader's real training to be a Sith Lord can begin.
We go back to see Leia on Alderaan. Bail hugs her and then he whispers to C3PO to have her mind wiped, thus closing the circle (Ok I kid on the last one).
The series closes with a scene of Vader mediating in front of a map of the galaxy, he's summoned by Tarkin to help with a minor rebellion. He stands up and strides out.
We see Kenobi in his hut mediating and we hear Qui-Gon's voice telling him to not be afraid to let go his conscious self.
Credits roll.

Ouch not a great episode. We already got an Obi-Wan rescues Leia story in part 2, this was the same thing with more steps.
The trench coat wasn't even the worst part, the tracking device trope is still bugging me. So she tells Vader Obi-Wan is the top priority yet lets him go because he might lead them to more Jedi? Just dumb writing and felt like the sequel trilogy having some really interesting concepts with poor execution and story telling.
At least the cinematography and music is elite. The rescue scene with the light sabre in the dark was brilliant.

Well the whole tension thing was a bit of a losing battle from the start. We know Ben, Leia and Vader are coming out unscathed, so it's up to the new characters to make us care about their fate. So far the one I'm rooting for the hardest is Lola, and I'm not even really joking.

I take back everything negative I’ve said thus far. Episode 4 was exactly what I wanted. When the lights dropped and it was just blue flashes. YES.
Loved it. Cool things happened. It was mostly about Obi-wan. Creepy dead bodies. Great Snowspeeder reveal.
Give me more of that please.
Star WARS. Not Star “Chats”.

Rewatched without people.
There were redeemable parts to it. Reva coming off like a bad children's movie villain was probably the weakest part, but the rest and the soundtrack in particular were decent.
This time i noticed that there was a second guy in a green trenchcoat walking the platform which I guess helps the sticking out like a sore thumb thing a little.
Obi Wan fighting and the Jedi tomb were fun.

It was copied straight out of the videogame Fallen Order - even down to breaking window letting the water gush in - although in the game it was done to stop Vader.

I get that its science fiction but the stopping on a dime in mid air to engage Reva and landing inside of a larger ship with virtually zero space to come to a stop felt comical. I suppose if you watch Empire right after the movement of those ships was practically the same though.

Yes a Snowspeeder never had magic hover capabilities in ESB. They were frail snow gliding land vehicles with flaps for flying in atmosphere.

The whole trenchcoat thing could have been solved by putting Leia in a cargo crate on a dolly. They didn't need to have a silly fat coat Austin Powers worthy scene.

A crate would've been an easy solution.
Instead we got "is that a third leg or are you just happy to see me?"

I just watched Obi Wan's scene in a ANH and things make less and less sense with the more they flesh out in these prequel series.
When Obi Wan is struck down, Leia displays no emotion at all while it is Luke who shouts "Noo!" and reacts in anguish. If you follow Obi-wan, at this point, Leia has actually spent more time with Obi Wan in person and experienced far more closeness with him than Luke ever did.

I always thought Luke had weird death reactions in ANH. old hermit you met earlier that day who gave you a laser sword: painful "NOOO", super depressed on the Falcon. aunt and uncle you lived with your whole life burned to a crisp: "ehh I've always hated sand anyways. you can stop playing the sad music now, I'm already mentally off this rock."

Keep in mind the Leia rescue plot was the Disney/Kennedy revised one, not the original story they had planned, which was deemed too dark. Although that one supposedly would've spent much more time on Tatooine.
Im going to gather that one probably fit better with the OT.
Personally, I'm more concerned with the series being good than it fitting seamlessly with A New Hope.
If we wanted perfect continuity then this series should never have been made. But people wanted it, as did I, so here we are.

Apparently most of the original script was Ben fighting off sandpeople. Sound familiar?

Yeah I was interested in if they'd bring "Him" into Canon.
Maybe if they do a season 2.

But then makes amends with them and teams up to take down ruthless spice traders and teaches them to use speeder bikes?
####, that would've been great TV.
They could even include a Rancor.

Much better than last week, but again my complaint is the writing and direction feels rushed and lazy. This would have benefited from expanding the series to 8 or 10 episodes as opposed to 6.
I hope if they do decide on a season 2 they look at the mistakes they made here.
