Jesus. This can't be real. I knew the Edmonton media was on another level of delusional, but this is just dumb.

Interesting to note that Nurse quickly volunteered what his injury was, whereas Tkachuk refused to comment on being injured because he didn't want to make excuses, and the news had to come from Treliving/media.

Am I an ahole for deriving pleasure out of Smith's misery? Just can't stand how he showboats every time he wins against the Flames. Losing looks good on him.

No, no you're not. He just seems like the prototypical delta bravo. The kind of guy you want to cheer against.

Heiskanen is a defensible #3 pick, I'd be very happy to have him on my team. Not so much the other two.

Gracious in victory, petty in defeat.

Why did I know the OT would be over in the first few minutes too? Haha. Like you KNEW the Avs were sealing it on the first or second chance.

Oilers are so un-clutch unless it's their coveted 3 on 3 gimmick.

Well you should.

Luckily I doubt the smart people that run the flames are lol'ing quite as hard as you guys, they recognize that a summer full of hard decisions just got more difficult. It's not a good thing when the team that beats you in 5 gets their ass kicked in the next round. If you identify as just a pure Oilers hater then I guess you're feeling good but if you're a Flames fan, like I am first and foremost, it's not great.

Anyways, you guys have your fun!
