I mean. I don’t like seeing guys get hurt. But Karma sometimes has a weird way of showing up. Like the clear offside goal and now Kadri getting injured on a dirty play. Kane is such an idiot and has been an idiot all playoffs.

and serious injuries on dirty plays are never karma

Well, Kadri got rightfully suspended for 8 games in the playoffs last year for a dangerous head hit after all his prior suspensions. Faulk was out for a while IIRc too.
My guess in Kadri is not a referee favourite game to game, seems like the kind of guy who will blame everyone but himself, and probably say the refs are all out to get him in all his suspension hearings.
Peel allowed his opinion based on his direct experience with the guy but probably keep it off social media.

Because to them it’s not a problem. I don’t buy that the game is rigged but they do manage games to keep them close. The more teams in the race the better. It’s the same reason the NHL won’t go to a 3-2-1 or straight W-L points system. They love the parity.

There’s a lot here that I don’t get.
Why was there no automatic game misconduct? Why was there not a review by the nhl at the time? If there was, 630Ched was talking about reducing it to 2 minutes(!)?
When Kane came out of the penalty box, he immediately tracked an avalanche into the Avs zone and did exactly the same thing! Does that not show a lack of learning?
NHL is complicit with 1 (haha) game. When is the NHL going to take steps to get headshots and this crap out of the game?

So Colorado is without Kadri for the rest of this series regardless of how long it goes and Edmonton is without Kane for 1 game? And Kane is the one that did something wrong? How on earth is that even remotely fair?
I still maintain if you hurt a player on a suspendable play you have to sit as long as the injured player is out.
