I've made as much fun of Katz as anyone, but he's been super ill for a few years now and almost died at one point, all this contributing to his rough appearance. Keep that in mind folks.

He looks good until he doesn't. Rarely outlasts another goalie that is holding the fort.

Sinus infection to the extreme. Tunneled way up into his face and they had to cut him open really bad in a series of surgeries to finally get the infection under control. I'm guessing he's still ill because he looks even worse now.
