We could've scored 20 in game 1 and it would still be worth just 1 win.
12 goals (including Coleman's extremely super duper obviously distinct kicking motion goal) from games 2-5 is still a decent 3/game. I wonder how many teams have lost 4 straight games at anytime while scoring 12 goals?
We scored 7 in the only 4 game L streak this year. 4 & 8 GF in the two streaks last year. Just 5 GF in a 6 game L streak the year before that

This is the time that I hate how quiet our management group is. Just no news squeaking out about any contract talks. Gotta think they have started talking.

Friedman reported the team is going to take aggressive runs at both Gaudreau and Tkachuk and not wait so fair to say negotiations are underway with both

For me I start to worry if no deal is done or news announced by the end of the month

I don't think the situations are the same though as if it gets to the 11th hour he's likely gone. Landeskog didn't want to leave, doesn't have family in other parts of the continent, was already in the US, and knew the Avs have a large contending window that few teams could match.

Run him out of town isn't quite what many were saying. He wasn't great in '19/20 or '20/21, his playoff performance was lacking and his contract was coming due. People just thought maybe you try get some return for him while the team still had that option.
