It depends what Flames team showed up. The team that showed up against the Oilers would have got wrecked. The team that played against Dallas I think could have made a series out of it.

Everyone was talking about McAvi Vs MacKinnon in this series...but Makar has been really fun to watch. I knew he was a beast offensively, but he is super sound in his own zone.

Flames with healthy Zadorov/Tanev and Markstrom on his game could have given them a run IMO.
Oilers are trying to run and gun with a team better at that style of game. Flames could have played a more structured game in theory. We will never know though.
Without Tanev though I doubt it
