The crying about that correct call is glorious!

I thought it didn't matter anyway when you got outplayed

Does not feel good to me. Edmonton is scoring too easily, and Colorado won’t score 8 goals again.

The officials kept that game way closer than it should have been. The Oilers could have committed murder out there and they wouldn't call a penalty. In their minds they are letting them play but the reality is that they are influencing the game in the worst way.

This win is as hollow as game one was for the Flames. The Avalanche won't win this series playing this kind of hockey. The first team that can shake this chaos hockey and start playing sound defensive hockey will be the first to take down the Oilers in the playoffs. As with game one of the Flames series, the Oilers likely have more confidence going into game two than the home team.

Oiler fans can whine all they want about the call and that 'it would have been tied if it wasn't allowed'. However, that just isn't the case.

It was close at the end because of game management, nothing more. Some easy calls on the Avs, the ability to commit murder for the Oilers. That helped propel them back in the game. Had it been closer, they wouldn't have reffed it that way.

Without that, it was never close. The Makar goal is pretty irrelevant (but also the correct call)

Hilariously, Edmonton scores enough so that Kostinem gets the loss

It's kind of a crime that Smith doesn't get the loss.

Same thing was said after game 1 in our series.

If anything Flames were more dominant.

Until McDavid and Draisaitl are stopped you can’t count them out

Something soothing about oilers fans calling the league fixed **checks notes** one game after the Coleman call.

The number of times I’ve heard fans say “yeah Kane is a bad guy but….” the last week.

F U forever oilers.

Did the Flames have 60% of the scoring chances? IDK

Anyway not really relevant, Avs are their own team

Good on Elliotte for showing these other goals so people realize the correct call was made.

Difference is the Avs have their own offensive powerhouse to go head to head with McAvi.
