Here is some Trivia Ron. Over under this goal is revisited all series even if Oil lose by more than 1 goal?

The panel just showed an example in a coyotes game where almost the same thing happened, it was challenged by the opposing coach, and it was ruled a good goal.

They literally showed a regular season play from Arizona that was exactly the same and had the same result.

I think his shot is the real difference maker. MacKinnon will use his speed to back off the Dman and make the goalie move, and has a lethal shot from distance to exploit that mistake.

But he can take advantage of a missed gap and crash the net with his speed and power as well.

Watching the game with my buddy that's never watched hockey before and he keeps talking about how MacKinnon just seems different compared to anyone else on the ice. Just has some bullishness to him.
He has that TRUE drive to win. He's aggressive and wills things into existence with pure effort on top of incredible skill.

It's hard to argue who's better because they're basically equals but with different styles and skillsets. That being said, in a Game 7, I'd take MacKinnon every time.

Everyone is talking about MacKinnon vs McDavid but I think it’s really Makar vs McDavid.

All the “Avalanche are too good” takes make me laugh a little considering I think this is actually closer than Flames-Oilers game 1 was.

And the expected goals numbers agree with me.

Avs need to be careful still because 92 and 29 are still doing their thing. And Kuemper didn’t look great before he left the game IMO

Before we all start patting ourselves on the back, keep in mind this is the first time the Avs have made the third round in 20 years.

I think they just completely invented a rule here
No, if it were when the puck crosses the line, there would be no such thing as a delayed offside, it would always be an immediate call (and was in fact the rule, prior to the delayed offside rule).

The purpose of the delayed offside rule is to allow any offside players to get themselves back onside, before any offensive player enters the zone and touches the puck.

Burakovsky needs to be helped off. Might be done for the playoffs, remains to be seen.

Ugly shift by Colorado there. How do you let the Kassian like walk all over you like that? Pathetic. Avs better clean up their D play or they're gonna let the Oilers back into this.

Kuemper having eye issues.

I’m told Kuemper absence related to previous right eye injury @ColHockeyNow
