FIFY. I would give it to Backlund but Tanev was a beast sans that early PP fumble.

Someone needs to pull the fire alarm at the dome before game 5, cancelling the game to give Tanev more rest! What a warrior.

Just want to add that I'd love to see the C given to Tanev . He deserves it.

Even playing injured, it was obvious how important Tanev is to this team. The team overall was much more stable with him on the ice. They actually looked a bit more like themselves.

Incredible how quiet McDavid was after Tanev's return.

Don't have anything new to add on the beast that hasn't been said. What an admirable performance despite being very clearly in pain. Even at 60% (?), Tanev was solid (except when on the PK, understandably). Agree that I'm hoping the Flames give him the C.

I hope he continues playing. Our back-end needs him.
Would be interesting to hear how he looks in the skate, if there is any, today. The toll on the body after playing yesterday.

What a gutsy performance by Chris Tanev who played with a torn laberum, separated shoulder and had a sprained neck.
Surgery next week.

Accused me of making up stories when I posted information from a source (I even said it was Orange Julius type source). Look who needs surgery after all.

Of all the Flames players, this is the one that you just have to admire for his perseverance. If this team had more players like Tanev they would be getting ready for the winners of the Blues/Avalanche series instead of packing up for the summer. I am no Treliving fan but this is by far his best free agent signing as the guy is the glue holding the blueline together.

Not just Tree's best free agent signing, I would say the best free agent signing in the history of the franchise.

Any chance we can pry his brother away from Seattle?
We need 6 Tanevs on this team.

We really missed him
Without him the focus was on Andersson and Hanifin and we all know what happened

Was it a shoulder laberum?
