Tough decisions to make because he was a no-show, Tkachuk too. Whatever Kylington wants, pay less. Much less.

Yes but this is Oliver's first year with a decent amount of playing time.

In 20 years, the league will come out and say they made a mistake and that wasn't a kicking motion. Just like they came back and say about the puck in 2004.

I just felt his level dropped for the Oilers series and he wasn't at the consistency level of Backlund / Coleman. OverallnI still think he had a good playoffs.

Would we ever let them forget it the situation was reversed? Zero chance. 100000 posts in the E=NG threads negated with three characters, 4-1.

God, cheering for this team is so annoying

Losing to the Oilers is like being sucker punched by a plate of oysters. It just shouldn't happen in a world governed by reason.

Someone "upstairs" from the Oilers called in a favour to get the league to start that process.

Easily.
But as with all 5-6m players, fitting them into your roster is the key.
It is the price range that is most likely replaceable with ELC talent.

Coleman didn't change his body or leg (considering speed he was going, while getting shoved) position. He was going to that spot on the ice whether the Puck was in the net or over the glass. Puck his his skate and goes in

Coleman's skate gets out of the way before hitting the post, preventing injury.

Called a goal on the ice. No Oiler challenge. League decides to do the Oilers a favour.
It’s a trash call by a trash league. Full stop.

That’s is 1000% a good goal every day of the week and twice on Thursday’s.

It hurts.

Did the “odds” take into account 4 officials, Toronto, NHL clear direction and head office, the money generated from gambling from McDavid advancing…. Etc.?

Pretty obvious what happened here. Need more fans. Need more gamblers.

Maybe but that's what i saw. Our two biggest defenseman never laid out as many big hits as they did during the regular season.

Definitely happy to win the series against our biggest rival and I felt especially offensively we deserved to win with the amount of goals we scored in the series on Markstrom. The series in general was way more offensively minded then I imagined.

I’ll be back in the off-season. I feel like we will see the B of A in more playoffs over the next few years. Take it easy CP.
Hahaha. Of course you will be. That’s always when you and the rest of the Oil fan posters show up in numbers.

I really don’t think so man. Oilers just had better players, and a league directive. Pretty obvious.

Markstrom wasn't good enough, but I think it was more of a by-product of our awful defending.
100% even in that first game it was appalling how open the middle of the ice was. Our D was slow, had no F coming back to help (or not enough, and I don’t mean backchecking through neutral zone I mean in the D zone), Hanifin was trash, Gudbranson and Zadorov- average for fear of taking penalties. It was just all around poor D coverage and the league wanted a certain result. Combination. Just BS.
