I don't get why they even reviewed it? Edmonton never challenged the play - it was beyond the 5 min mark (Correct me if im wrong)

If so, you play the other guy
If not, he sucked this series

Emotions running high and all, but I firmly believe:
1. Jacob Markstrom was the main reason we lost this series. Awful.
2. Noah Hanifin and Rasmus Andersson aren’t good enough to be top pairing defencemen on a championship quality team
3. …I don’t think I like where this team goes from here. I don’t see how they can address the top-end of the roster when the bottom of the roster is as bloated as it is.
Also, good for Mikael Backlund. He had a good series. Ditto with Gaudreau.
Eric Furlatt never fails to #%^* us over. He’s a terrible ref.

Would be nice when the dust settles to have the NHL admit that they made a mistake with the no goal call. Of course it won’t happen and they will vehemently stick to their baseless explanation, but I think in the long run this really cheapens the game (not just because I’m a Flames fan).
As a professional league this is a very bad look considering some of the voices who have commented and disagreed with the call. Hopefully it garners more attention and this isn’t forgotten in the grand scheme of things. Who am I kidding though, it’s the NHL and more specifically it’s the Calgary Flames so no one will care.

Oliver too. Don't want either back . Get bad brodie vibes from Oliver. Before anyone starts in on me what a good dman brodie was for us , what did the Flames accomplish under him and Gio?

Coleman's cup experience showed tonight. Brutal that he touched the puck, don't let anything give the refs a reason to get involved. Still shook by that call. Hope Furlatt pats himself on the back tonight

You can argue the same about a goalie and getting no help. It's a cop-out to put the blame solely on him for the team playing like ass defensively.

I fully expect the Oilers to win the cup now, because apparently Flames fans just haven't been kicked in the dick enough over the decades

Really disappointing end to the season. Markstrom blew it in my opinion. 4-6 goals against in every single game many weak shots as well. Flames had control of the game and he fell apart quickly. This series could be 4-1, 3-2, or 2-3 if we got an extra save.
Oilers has a lot more confidence and seemed to win more battles, make crisper passes, and get more bounces. The Flames getting robbed that goal for was pretty brutal because we would be talking about Saturday instead of wondering if Johnny, or Chucky will be back.
End of the day these playoffs consumed me. I was less productive at work and basically stopped working out and drank ever other day for over 3 weeks. I will be happy to get back to normal but this one stings. I really thought we were winning tonight.

We scored plenty enough to win this series, and had the better team overall.

It really is Sutter's fault. Before the series all we heard from him is "You can't take penalties". He had the players scared to do anything except stand around and watch. No hitting on Drysaitl either.

Calgary doesn't have elite talent like that...
Their best beat our best... and it wasn't one player either...McDavid, Draistl, Kane and Hyman all played better than Calgary's players imo...Johnny looked pretty good as did Backlund.. Tkachuk was pretty invisible after the first game...and Lindy was pretty solid as well...
the thing that shocked me was Smith outplaying Markstromm... the lose of Tanev definitely hurt, but I am not sure even his presence would have turned the series in Calgary's favor.

Didn't really watch much of this season as a result. Don't think I'll watch the rest of the playoffs or watch next season. Stuff like Kane being let off the hook and then welcomed back into the league along with these kinds of continued officiating issues just make me dislike the NHL. I do really like Gaudreau, I have enjoyed a handful of games this year, and I'll watch if the Flames are in the playoffs again next year, but I just can't really care about the league's product much anymore.

Your next season was me this season.
My next login will most likely be the next time the Flames get to round 2, I’m guessing.

The 4th loss loses the series. To be down 3-1 and win the last 3, you need to win the first one
That one was tonight, and they got screwed
