Ultimately, we lost because we were the second best team with the second best goalie in the series, but man does it feel like we are on the **** end of every single damn controversial goal call we're involved in.
Would it have been better to lose to Dallas in game 7? At least it would've been nice for Oettinger to win after his incredible series. And maybe he could make some saves against the Oil too.
Don't care how badly the Flames played, tonight or other games, don't care how Markstrom played or didn't, the Flames got ####ed in the ass by the refs and league and won that game fair and square and should be a game 6 Saturday.
Zero question about that. Zero. Who cares how the Flames played on a whole. They won that game and anything can happen in the next 2.

Can't answer about Gaudreau, but Kylington and Andersson can't hold it down in their own zone against larger players. They can move the puck but can't move bigger guys. Plus they made brain fart after brain fart leaving guys wide open. Showed a lot.

This series clearly showed you do NOT tie up $20M in Johnny and Tkachuk.
The clear and obvious path is re-sign Johnny and trade Tkachuk for the best package of younger cost controlled options you can find, preferably quality over quantity and preferably a C or D.
Any other path taken with those 2 would be terrible so knowing this incompetent organization we'll let Johnny walk and sign Tkachuk to a stupid contract.
