This franchise sure does love it's ####ty goaltending come the playoffs. Another classic Flames exit.
At least next round should be fun to watch. Oilers proved that they are for real offensively on the top end. But Avs are just as good offensively, and got a fuller game.

The NHL watching Evander Kane score a ton of points when he should be somewhere in jail, and hijacking game 5 by taking a legitimate goal off the board.
This is maphia level ####

Is anyone else done with the NHL for a while? I can't be the only one with the urge to stop caring.

Flames were terrible all series. Too many dumb mistakes.

any team by the fuxking oil in our barn. What a fuxking letdown, 4 games in a row. Eh, it’s just a game...

Oilers were better for the most part. Refs screwed us tonight. Should have been another game...

Markstrom should be embarrassed. There will be some blame on the refs. But that was all Markstrom. Worst series I think I’ve ever seen by an individual. No less the 4 goals given up in a single game.
The missed call will take the headlines. But that was on Markstrom.

Worst call I've personally ever seen. I can't get over it. It honestly pisses me off more then the loss. #### the NHL. Also, Flames suck. What a wasted season. They're not getting better next season...

Unfathomably despicable job by the NHL which sadly may lose a number of fans from this.

My take as well. The Oilers were the better team in the series. The Flames were the better team tonight, and they got totally screwed.

I am now much more on the Backlund train when it comes to captainhood than I am on the Tkachuk train.
One guy was fantastic and the other was useless.

Yep. Even if they win this one they are playing Oilers hockey not Flames hockey. This is simply not the hockey they played in the regular season and I just don't see how they could win three in a row playing like this.

This. Non goal sucks.
But the Flames were never winning this series playing how they did, top to bottom.
Backlund can't do it himself.

you might be able to trade Hanifin and Monahan for a 7th and a cap dump.

I'm pretty done with players that can't skate. Tkachuk and Toffoli were complete ghosts 98% of the series. I'll be furious if that's Gaudreau's last game as a Flame but I'm fine with Tkachuk heading out to Ottawa.
Absolutely moronic for Sutter to keep forcing the top line v top line matchup. Neutralizes most of our offence and keeps our best defensive forward (Backlund) away from McDavid.
That's a 3-2 series with refs that don't go to bed in oilers pyjamas.

Disallowed goal aside..terrible series by the Flames. How many multi goal leads given away in all 3 home games? Just brutal. Totally a fair result in the end.

In a series with Darryl Sutter back behind the bench with the Calgary Flames CBC unironically said that may be one of the most controversial goal reviews in Stanley cup history.
Poor Sutter must be infuriated. Guess you have to have star power and/or a desirable TV market to win in this league.
