How can you have a kicking motion on one leg and trying to not hit the post?
I’m stunned.
Gotta get the oilers into the next round asap.
I have a friend who doesn’t care about hockey. I think that I need to spend more time with him.

How can someone kick something while on one leg?
How can this be ruled a kick when the edmonton player could be argued to be propelling Coleman's leg?
The puck was already going into the net. This is... unbelievable.

While we are giving out some free goal reviews and disallowing things I'm pretty sure backlunds tip was a kick, Johnny's shot was a kick, Jarnkroks first as a flame was definitely a kick.... So dumb, like someone mentioned above, how do you kick with the only leg you're standing on?

He's literally stopping on one blade with the other foot well in the air. His torso is past the post and he can't even see the puck. It is physically impossible for him to make a kicking motion.

The way the skate made a twist towards the puck is why it was reviewed for so long. The NHL wouldn't reverse the call on ice unless there's distinct evidence indicating so.
I saw it as Coleman made a motion with his skate to guide the puck in.
I can see why it was overturned. But if there's other examples of similar, or more blatant calls that were called good, that's just the NHL for ya.

Bad call against Dube in the second, no call on the high stick, no call on the butt end, and a goal with no clear kicking motion called back.
