Pretty soft, looking for a call.
Probably a penalty by the letter of the law. But in this context.
Brutal timing.

I mean I think they could have called several picks and holds on both sides this game - don't think that's a charge, but more of a tackle.

Second periods have been an unmitigated disaster in this series. And that was not a charge. Garbage call.

Try not to sound too thrilled Hrudey, about the Oil PP.

Left his feet. Not the first player to do that this game, but a legit penalty call

Uh... I rewound.
Dube didn't take a SINGLE stride into that hit.
Why do the refs feel they have to make their impact on the game felt like this?

I think if he doesn't do that final launchpad nonsense they wouldn't call it and Yamamoto eats a faceful of boards all the same. Needs to control himself as does everyone.

Left both his feet. That's the right call. Almost no penalties getting called tonight - do not do dumb things like that to force a call

How can that be charging? I've seen that 20 times in the last week. I guess whining does work

It looked like he left his feet a bit. But then call the Foegele one after a whistle…

I am never one to blame the refs, as that isn’t why the Flames are down in the series, but that was a weak call. Archibald and Kassian have done that same hit several times. That’s just good physical hockey.

With the refs basically saying that the Flames can't play their game it's an uphill battle. Hard to beat refs too.
