Not sure what happened to Markstrom after the Dallas series, but what a stats dive. I still come back to Kassian standing on his arm in game 1. Vladar should start the 2nd, Markstrom is off (even though the 3rd goal was deflected). Can't believe we are losing to the Oilers in the playoffs, they aren't even any good.

That’s why I don’t give any credit to the possession as it has been all perimeter. The moment the oilers got the puck and entered the zone after, all it took was one shot and it was a goal. Yet again.

Sorry, but enough of the apologies for Markstrom. He needs to be better. Straight up. He has show he can do this, and needs to in a hurry. Team is playing well, just need a goal here and we get them panicked. This isn’t the Lightning, they’re as fragile as we think they are.

And the excuse birds are out for Markstrom's poor performance. I'm not even saying he's a bum in general, he's been great. But in this series he's been very poor. And expecting the rest of the team to play exactly the same way as they have all season, while they worry about the sieve behind them is naive in the extreme.
