I understand the anxiety but this team has earned a little bit of faith this year, IMO. There weren't many times where they didn't course correct after some adversity. Momentum swings quickly in a series. If the Flames put forward their best game they should have a solid chance at evening up the series tonight. And the Oilers are still just the Oilers. Get it done Flames!

I'm going to try and have fun and enjoy the game tonight. It's been a great season thus far and still very much alive.

My first memories of watching hockey are the 80s Flames and I grew up going to the Saddledome all the time during the "Young Guns" era.

A guy who's had Trevor Kidd as his favorite player for years knows what heartbreak feels like. It may be near at hand for us Flames fans or it could be weeks away/never, but I just hope they go down fighting hard.

If they can't get by McDavid and Co., they'll have to tip the hat and get golfing, but that obviously must be avoided at all costs. Those of us who lived through the all the years of pain were bluffing if we ever said this would/could be an easy series.

Yeah that's fair. The regular season I'm not too bothered, but after being a fan of this team for 30+ years, I expect nothing from the playoffs. I'll be positive during the season when the team is doing well for sure.

I love when they prove me wrong, and will be the first to admit it. In my heart I'm always optimistic, but my brain always tells me otherwise .

I don’t think I’ve ever been less enthusiastic for a playoff game in my life. Just dreading the taunting and crap I’m gonna have to endure from a-hole relatives, neighbours and other creeps in my life. They’re all empowered now like brain dead maga freaks.

This is a critical game, flames need to start bruising thier top line. Play them super super hard and make Conor worried every time he gets the puck.
