Sure it's better, but our top line isn't playing at the same level as their top line and exposing their defense. Their top line is basically their team, they win and die on it, and in this series its been the difference maker without a doubt

You have to look at this from the other side too.
The Oilers are incredibly inconsistent. We can't ignore the holes and flaws on their end.
It would be uncharacteristic of them not to drop the ball themselves at some point here. They had a very rocky road with LA and nearly fumbled it.
Just need to get on even terms and back up off the mat. Then go within and summon their game again.

Regardless of who's winning there should be equal time spent discussing both teams on a national broadcast imo.

Playing scared to make a mistake rather than with confidence in forcing one of the opposition. Badly miss Tanev not only for his defensive acumen but also his mentality and the impact is has on the rest of the defenders.

This seems right. Just complete collapse away from all fundamentals and details. Every d playing like scared and selfish. Painful to see. Hopefully Sutter has more answers than Peters, but it's looking like the personnel are the problem.

Good time to get Vladar in there. Should be low pressure.

Good to see Vladar in the net. Yes, it’s not your fault timing Marky, but you’ve been outplayed by the goalie in every game.

Glad Markstrom is out. Maybe he can get mentally right with some time off.

Yup. But even if the Flames had killer instinct it wouldn’t have mattered tonight.
I said to myself after Dallas I wouldn’t get too high or too low.
But I didn’t think my team would be a no show in a pivotal game.

If any team can blow a 4 goal lead.
I’m watching them.
