A rundown of some positives:
Markstrom looks to be regaining some composure and looks settled in net, tracking pucks well.
Gaudreau is finding ice out there, he's moving well laterally.
Our defensemen have been giving the Oilers the slip in the offensive zone
The coverage on the back check has been pretty good so far and it looks like we're countering their transition better than games past.
0-0 after 20 in their barn.
Let me know what else you guys see that's looking good for us!

Toffoli & Mangiapane look hungry to me.
Tkachuk looks focused on making good plays, not antic after the whistles.
Strangely, I'm very ok with how that period went. Hopefully we can get a 2 or 3 goal lead late enough in this game that the refs & McDavid can't come back.

I don’t know why everyone is complaining about us not getting PP’s. We’ve been ####ing terrible on the PP LOL. I’d rather have them play 5 on 5 unless if we can get our damn PP together. It’s looking absolutely atrocious.

Tanev is a huge loss for this group. He’s just so steady and calm out there. The other defence really seem to rely on his leadership. This is an opportunity conversely to step up and find another gear.

Wouldn't say dominated, but that's the 2nd worst period so far this series. Scoring chances should be close but slightly favoring Edmonton.
Smith looks like Smith and outside of McDavid the rest of Edmonton is a tugboat full of meh.
