It isn't the calls on the Flames. It is the non-calls on the Oilers.

i cant believe people still watch the intermission. I haven't done that in years. I want to watch a game, not a "panel".
Go take a walk or call your mom or something.

Shows replay, Toffoli can't get to the high dman....has nothing to do with Yamamoto's stick around his waist. Guess that's only a penalty against Lewis.

It is stunning how differently the Flames are playing this series compared to the last one.

They need to get used to Playing McDavid. They are shell shocked right now, but they should be able to adjust over a seven game series.

Okay guys. I realize I'm letting the broadcast get me down and turning this into a negative experience. Round 2 BOA and the refs are against us, the broadcast is against us and the sea of sweats is against us.
Would it ever be any other way?
A rundown of some positives:
Markstrom looks to be regaining some composure and looks settled in net, tracking pucks well.
Gaudreau is finding ice out there, he's moving well laterally.
Our defensemen have been giving the Oilers the slip in the offensive zone
The coverage on the back check has been pretty good so far and it looks like we're countering their transition better than games past.
0-0 after 20 in their barn.
Let me know what else you guys see that's looking good for us!

Can we vote Ron off the panel? He should have retired when Don did.

It’s cause Markstrom doesn’t look like trash against the Oilers for once to be honest.

They can't play the same way they did against Dallas or they will be in the box the whole game. Dallas was a defensive hard checking team, Edmonton will flop and embellish every given opportunity.

Why is it that the Oilers always get those calls, though? It’s bull#### and the officials have to be better. If they can call a Flame for embellishment then they can sure as hell call an Oiler too!!

It's dumbfounding. I dont get it. They should be able to execute the same style of play but with more room to operate.

Didn’t see first outside of when we looked not good. Are the Oilers really outplaying us or result of the 2 PPs?

Markstrom has been good today. There was the one close call that didn't go in and thats what happened. It didn't go in. He stepped up and kept the puck out. Not allowing any goals against in that period will be a confidence boost for Markstrom... Sorry, for Marston. And the team too.

First period of the BOA on Oilers turf, and the Flames held them off the board. Not a wonderful period, but an okay period.
