Anyways, I’m mostly curious about who IS the worst this board has to offer? That sounds like a fun game, let’s play that one now.
I pick Corsi. Long posts? A lawyer? Comes across a little TOO smart, if you know what I mean? Kind of suspicious, all around. Bad taste in shoes, too. Can’t trust him.

I don't go out of my way to belittle people or drag them down, as I pointed out was the issue with a certain group of long time posters. Which is what zamler was getting at in the OP.
I respond in kind when someone is rude to me, yes. Which I did. But I don't initiate #### or crash someone's thread just to tell them its stupid and cringy.
The fact that i don't do those things here is why I'm hardly the worst this place has to offer.
Yup. I can be a little hypocritical, sure. Is that what you're getting at? Congrats. I don't have an issue admitting that.
I'm still not THE problem that this thread was bringing up.
You and the couple others that are making me the target of your witch hunt feels like a waste of time for that reason.
Anything else?

The OP implied I was a pedophile apologist and doubled down on it before halfly apologizing. Personally I don't understand what they offered outside of objectifying a woman and being celebrated for it. Losing a community member sucks, but I don't get the consternation.
The community being lectured to by someone demonstrating bullying with the WOS and dismissing their actions through textbook excuses and justifications is pretty alarming.
I've been the perpetrator of some silly #### on this site ("The Oilers have the best prospects"), but at least I'm self-aware.

The Wall is for fun. I put myself on it. I make it as goofy as possible. The previous 'winners' of it had no problems with it. I made a thread where people can bring up their concerns about it if they have an issue with it and we can discuss it.
But sure, let's call it bullying.

You know, I don't think anyone ever felt Gaskal's ATL was bullying. If people are finding the WOS bullying, perhaps it's not having an entirely welcome reception and not really comparable to the ATL.
I don't read the WOS, and have no strong opinion on it, but whenever someone is being dismissive of people saying their actions are bullying it seems worthy of a second look.

We did discuss it.
The mere idea that targetted members are clearly expressing that they aren't in on the joke or 'fun' should make it clear. Lanny and others have openly told you they don't appreciate you using their posts as fodder.
That you include yourself doesn't excuse others' objections. We've expressed that it's toxic and divisive and you seemingly ignored it.
I mean, it's not a democracy, but if your fellow community members and fans aren't on board I would hope you would be less dismissive of their considerations.
It won't make a lick of difference for me as I tend not to post stuff that gets me posted to the wall, and I bypass the subsequent post on principle. That said, anything that targets CP community members that way makes me uncomfortable, and the ways you and others dismiss complaints is highly reflective of a bullying mindset.

Witch hunt? I’m literally just trying to follow what you think the problem is. Every time you define the problem and point a finger at someone else you hilariously, somehow, also make yourself guilty of the same problem, and when someone else points that out, say it’s not ACTUALLY the problem.
You keep pointing the finger at anyone you can… and you’re playing victim because people pointed the finger back? A “witch hunt”?? lol wut? It’s not a witch hunt man, it’s people laughing at you for acting like you’re a moral authority in the matter while you roll in the mud with the pigs.
If you can clearly explain what exactly the problem is that this thread was bringing up (since it’s apparently not the 8 other things you said it was), and I can’t find a quote from THIS thread which shows you being part of THAT problem, I’ll give you a cookie.

I mean, take a look and tell me what you think. Just have to scan the PGTs.
Unlikely that I'll be continuing it though because of the 20% of board members that took offense to it, most of which were not even a "target" of the Wall (many of those posters, including the ones who were most prominently featured actually laughed and enjoyed it or just did not care).
The vocal minority essentially succeeded in wet blanketing what was intended as a bit of self-depricating fun, so good for them.
And they've dragged their witch hunt into every conversation I've participated since just to be jerks to me, so that's been great.
Gotta love CP. I sure can't wrap my mind around why zamler left..

Do you really want me to go read a WOS and give my opinion? Would my opinion matter?
Like, I'll do it if you're actually serious about seeking an opinion, but I don't want to otherwise. If you actually want feedback and are open to it, can you link to a post?

Cool, man. I don't care. So laugh away, if you get a kick out of it.
You could just be straight to the point instead of taking the roundabout way to say that lol.
Thanks for the cookie!

Nothing personal, but why are you letting the opinions of others dictate what you will or won't post? If some members take offence then treat it as an opinion expressed and nothing more.
If certain members don't like your Wall or the fact that gifs are posted in the PGT thread, just ignore them and continue with what you want to do on this forum.
Not everyone here is going to agree with everything you say or do. You just can't let their opinions influence how you post. You won't be the first poster criticised for your posting style and certainly not the last.

My posting style will most certainly not be altered in any way.
I may stop doing it partly because of the increased hassle of fending off finger pointers (I don't care for individual opinions, but the overall experience on CP has sagged because of my being attached to it), but also cause I'm too busy with things and often have to be up early and these games have been running late AF!

Not sure I entirely agree. The act of taking time to contribute anything beyond ####posting or trolling is an act that expresses some sense of value in contributing to the community, and that's hard to separate from wanting those contributions to be treated as valid by people in the community.

I would be happy if it was discontinued, but I wish you would take less a victim mentality about this and more of what you already described as a kind of self-reflective opportunity. You're a valued member of this board, but the WOS wasn't a great idea. Live and learn type thing.
Self-deprecation is dependent on the 'self', to use a nebulous concept. This isn't that as the community has responded negatively, even if it isn't the majority. And maybe some of us bring up the WOS as a general negative rather than trying to be jerks on a witch-hunt. Maybe some of us think this a bad idea regardless of you as a poster.
Frankly I find the majority of what you post is fantastic, and I mostly agree with your takes. It's nice to have another positive voice throughout the GTs, even if I might disagree with your assessment of people that dislike the recent Dr. Strange film.

I'm just saying that when a person is posting something that isn't trolling, it shows they're taking some time to put some aspect of themselves and their thoughts out there. It takes some level of effort, energy, and time to try to engage. If they're doing that in a non-trolling way, it seems fair to presume they actually place some value on what the community thinks of their contribution.

I didn't recall any specific posters saying they didn't want to be included on it.
If they did ask that, it wasn't straightforward enough that I caught that.
To be fair, there were a lot bloated posts that were just generally disgruntled but didn't make any specific demands.
Is that why Lanny was being so brutal in this thread? Well if it makes him feel better, if I ever do it again he won't be included then.

Thank you sir! Likewise.
Yes. There were some disagreements there lol.
I flew off the handle a bit in that debate haha... I just felt passionate about going to bat for that movie, thought it was a breath of fresh air for Marvel and was sorely needed.
But I'd like to clarify in retrospect that it's absolutely fine that some people didn't feel the same way. With more thought, some of the points brought up were valid. It was fun, but maybe not the best entry, either.
