Refs have been horrible and inconsistent and have basically made the game unwatchable, but the Flames can and need to play way better.

The officiating has been truly awful. But this has also been the worst game the Flames have played in the playoffs and they thoroughly absolutely deserve to lose. Even if it were enough to beat the Oilers, it's nor enough to beat anyone else.

Refs have missed every real penalty, called penalties no one can find , and messed up a should be goal for both teams

There should be a pink card waiting in both their lockers .

That's game, folks.

Oilers had a lot of help from the refs tonight to get themselves back in the game, but those last two goals are completely on the Flames. They blew this one. They'd better get their defensive game sorted out by game 3, or this will be a much longer series than we thought.

You can tell they really miss Tanev as well. They're kind of a mess in the D zone without him.
