4-3 Flames double OT

Lucic hits McDavid so many times Connor is seen on the bench in tears, an emotional wreck.

Think anyone would notice if we put Brady in a Ritchie jersey and threw him on the ice?

Goalie battle tonight and tighter game.

3-1 Flames, with one EN.

Zero points for McD and two for Johnny.

He has to transition from a close tense goaltenders duel, to him against a coupla bums.

I'm not worried at all, and Sutter isn't going to panic pull him unless its overwhelmingly bad.

Sutter isn’t afraid to ride his #1.

He gave Turek one period in the entire 2004 run

Of course there were no crazy games like this 9-6 one that year

Game 2s are always tough. Oilers will come out flying, gotta come ready to go or could be down a couple quick.

Mind you with Smith in net, that’s a surmountable lead, but still.

Really want to see Dube and Toffoli start lighting it up on a regular basis, if that 3rd line gets scoring the Oilers are really screwed.

Just want to see a Markstrom rebound game, and to clean up some of the sloppy defensive zone play.

I'm in BC so the late start is fine with me, but man that's a very late start for a lot of you.....

Depends on how sober Brady is at puck drop?

Sutter wants to entertain the fans again to make up for the boring series last round.
15-4

McDavid with all 4 goals because Sutter is always right.

Dube has been playing well, liked his hustle against the Stars too. Playing big boy hockey, I hope he gets rewarded tonight.

I think it would be pretty enjoyable if Smith had a decent night, say .910 save percentage, and the Flames still end up crushing the Oilers. Let them (and the media) know how bad the Oilers really are.

I wonder if putting Lewis with them could get that to go.

9-4.
We have to improve on the last 2 meetings against Edmonton where we've given up too many.
McDavid will still get 4 points though and dominate the post game praise.

I have a feeling Jarnkrok is getting off the schneid today. Dude is more than due.

GFG. Very confident in this one.

I felt the same way but there was an article up on flamesnation.ca that did a decent job dissecting this.

Basically, last year Marky played them twice at some awkward points right when he came back from injury and two games after that Vancouver game he got a concussion in them was off for the injury. He didn't play well at all. Then also the team wasn't as good. This year his overall numbers are the same but when you dig in a bit he's been a .920 goalie even strength but the oilers PP has improved dramatically.

All that being said, stay out of the box and I have no worry about his Edmonton ability. GFG!

I think we need some “Need some money” chants whenever Kane touches the puck.

Friday night at the Dome, Battle of Alberta, let's go! Dome is gonna be rockin' tonight.

Taking this one in live. Can't recall a game I've been more excited to see since '04.

Markstrom picked up his game in the third period after the tying goal. If Sutter had pulled him the I would have been very worried about him today. But he battled through and got his confidence back. And I am sure the boys are going to go extra hard to limit any chances the Oilers have.

I've been critical of Jarnkrok so far, but if he can continue to be amazing on the PK, then that's good enough for me.

The rumors are that Drai is hurting and Nurse is suffering from a core injury that needs surgery and they'll both see more limited minutes.

I know the first instinct is to be a bit sympathetic to hurt players. But this is the playoffs man. The Flames need to run through those two as often as they can.
