Barkov really doesn't use his guy on the right wing/point. Forcing some shots. Also pretty slow passing. Tampa defenders really just have to stand still in their little box formation.

Needs to be a little more rapid fire to get off the schneid.

Andrew Brunette looks shattered. Colton left wide open... wow.

Tampa is going to sweep this series.

Maybe Toronto taking them out wouldn't have been the worst.

Florida isn't nearly as competitive. Yeah, they're sitting on quite an arsenal of firepower, but it's doing nothing for them right now.

Weegar is so dumb. He's crazy overrated for how much talk he gets for being on an elite pair.

Florida gave that game away hard. PP with 3 minutes left, tired Tampa defenders and a golden opportunity to win the game. They do nothing with it, then a massive defensive breakdown with only a few seconds left. That team has some massive mental flaws

Leave a guy wide open in front of the net with 3 seconds left

Yeah that's probably series... virtually no way the 2 time defending champs are going to blow this. They know how to win this time of year and the Panthers just don't.

I wonder if it is a case of Florida just cake walking through the season almost uncontested. I know they had some injury adversity, but even then, winning came pretty easy for them.

Weegar owes everybody in that room an apology. How can anybody be that stupid? Talk about absolutely 0 situational awareness.

A lot of OT and shootout wins...they had a really good season but there isn't much to chose between them and a bunch of teams. Their style didn't seem like it would work in the playoffs.

The was an Oilers level defensive mistake, at the worst time possible

He was legitimately great last year, but that seems like it was an outlier year. Before that he was a 7th d-man. Looks like he's turned back into a pumpkin.

Just a brutal decision on that winning goal. WTF was he thinking with less than 5 seconds to play?

Playoffs are a different beast.

Exposes who has that intestinal fortitude and who doesn't. Often takes a few years of failure to figure out what it takes, and then learn to execute it.

Florida's offense has simply withered on the big stage, and it was their greatest strength all year.

This is exactly it. It's run and gun and hope your goalie makes big saves when you give up your massive chances against in river hockey.

However, their power play is the entire reason they're struggling in the playoffs. It's unbelievable that a great power play like theirs hasn't scored a goal yet in these playoffs. Just nuts. You'd think one would bank in by accident at this point.
