Flames win & McDavid gets 4 points. Both teams can sleep happy tonight for accomplishing their goals.

Hrudy saying it's unfortunate Koskinen let goal #8 in and the oilers will be better next game. Wonder if he has a fave?

Goals 4,5 and 6 weren’t good on Markstrom but also they were just weird plays - Z’s broken stick, Hanifin’s blue line bobble, puck dribbling to Yamamoto.

Flames win and the Hrudey/Amber talk is all about the Oilers and how they can beat the flames. #### you sportsnet

It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile, a win's a win!

Man, this has to have been one of the weirdest games I've ever seen! What a night!

To be fair he doesn’t start making 9.25m until next season

Flames will settle in after tonight. Knowing they can win even in a loosey goosey affair.

Sutter won't let them get away from the game plan.

Oilers have no answer. They showed their cards tonight just to keep up.

Awesome win. Honestly, even though Edmonton tied it the game was never in doubt. It was simply the Flames taking their foot of the gas. The best part is that we have yet to see the best from Markstrom, we were also missing arguably our best D-man. I think that after Sutter makes some adjustments EDM will find scoring extremely difficult.

The PK was great, and Lucic bullying the Oilers made my night even better. All in all more of that please!

The Oilers have scored 11 goals in their last 2 games against the Flames and still lost both by multiple goals.

That has to hurt.

Biggest thing that shouldn’t be overlooked tonight was the PK.

Oilers go 0-4 and I thought the Flames were really strong on the PK.

I hope Woody tells them their plays were fine, good speed, keep playing this way and they will win. They scored 6 after all.

Penalty kill won that game. Gave a ~40% PP absolutely nothing, and any one of those power plays could have changed the game.
