Long term I feel good about the Flames but I really don't want them to blow this game

The 14 shots against are all shots the system is designed to give up. Markstrom has to make those saves. If he makes the saves he's supposed to, this is a 6-1 game and we're not even questioning anything.

I wouldn't pull Markstrom myself, just because I think he rebounds over the intermission and putting Vladar in cold with that pressure could be catastrophic.

Tkachuk ain’t wrong. They got away from their game. Markstrom needs to make saves but there’ve been some blue line and other puck management plays that hurt.
